Afghan Parliament member and NOW declared Presidential candidate…Fawzia Koofi.
She was initially condemned to death by her own family for being born female
(She should’ve KNOWN BETTER! Pssssht!)
and she’s already had a few assassination attempts.
In 2014 she plans to run for President…the very same year
that all foreign troops are supposed to withdraw from the country.
I wish you well Fawzia.
Evil doesn’t take well to those wishing to change it.
RIP Benazir Bhutto
Sometimes after I have sex, I wish, I dunno like, you know I hadn’t done it.
I hate it when it’s over. It’s like, is that it?
The chase is the best part. That’s where all the excitement is.
You know, it’s, it’s…it’s a turn on that somewhere there’s a girl,
standing on a corner and she’s waiting to have sex with me.
You can approach these perfect 10s and you know you are going to get somewhere.
I can have plenty of good sex with tons of decent looking women, but what I can not get is that kick ass
super tight body 19 year old man, I would DEFINITELY pay for that.
Well, we all wish we drove a Porsche, but realistically all we are ever gonna own is a Honda
so we are lucky that we can always rent one for a couple of hours.
** Priorities. Guess I should be “lucky” that I’m not ugly, gross and pathetic
and can have my “Porsches” (I’ve actually had a 911, don’t know what all the hooplah’s about)
and “drive” em too? **
I guess for me, I think of it as…”If you put ALL that energy you use (waste) into trying to get laid…
into something of actual substance, can you imagine all the awesomeness you can generate?
Instead of just shootin’ a load…?”
Therein lies my frustration.
GFE – Girlfriend Experience (2008)
Love is more expensive than sex.
Stumbled upon this by accident while lookin’ up the original stream for the above movie.
The Girlfriend Experience (2009)
Yes, different movie.
A drama set in the days leading up to the 2008 Presidential election,
and centered on a high-end Manhattan call girl meeting the challenges of her boyfriend,
her clients, and her work.
Goldman Sachs owns 16% of Village Voice Media.
Village Voice Media owns Backpage.com.
Backpage is the leader in ad space for prostitution.
(It replaced former lead, Craigslist)
Not only until it was uncovered, 2 years prior to March 30, 2012
did Goldman Sachs report:
“it had just signed an agreement to sell its stake to management.”
Interesting that GS was exposed in 2010
the same year that Goldman managing director, Scott L. Lebovitz (who sat on the Village Voice Media board for many years) stepped down.
Online websites that advertise escort services and their publication counterparts
are making hundreds of millions of dollars a year advertising illegal services.
These services make it easier for pimps and traffickers to promote their “products.”
If they ARE to profit as the ‘middlemen” they should be taxed upon to help fund services
in which to fight/protect victims of sexual slavery/trafficking.
However, it’s also evident that Backpage plays a major role in the sex trafficking of minors. Kristof cited “a recent case in New York City where prosecutors claimed that a 15-year-old girl was drugged, tied up, raped and sold to johns through Backpage and other sites.”
I know it’s entertaining seeing the pics in the back, or advertisements online.
Or even collecting “playing card” like advertisements for escorts in Vegas.
But, if you knew the damaged lives each of these advertisements bring…
maybe you’ll start taking it more seriously.
Whoever wants to sell their body, go right ahead.
But there are countless others who are forced into it.
We should not allow/support something where the few are free
and the majority are suffering/enslaved.
Kick ’em in their “Goldman Sachs”
not suck ’em.
Please share if you believe there needs to be a change.
Don’t mind the title, it’s the mini “feel good, I KNEW IT” moment I got this morning.
(C’mon, let me bask in it for lil bit, k?)
Was thinking, “Hmmmmmmm. What should I put on my lips?”
(I don’t think I even needed it. I just haven’t put any on in a while so I thought, **meh** why not?)
Then, the thought of, “What’s in these things anyways?”
Mmmmmmmmmm. Yummy chemicals.
A whole SHIT load, of yummy chemicals.
This sucker, which moisturizes phenomenally, and surprisingly well, doesn’t even list ingredients.
Fabulous! It was a sample handout thingy. Tastes good too.
Let’s do the Chapstick one since it lists some of it’s ingredients AND only has 3 to look up.
White Petrolatum 40.7%
What the other 48.3% is?
Inactive Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Fragrance, Isocetyl Stearate, Lanolin, Methylparaben, Microcrystalline Wax, Mineral Oil, Propylparaben, Tocopheryl Linoleate/Oleate, Vitamin E Acetate.
Its primary use is in suncreens and other cosmetics to absorb UV-B and UV-A rays from the sun, protecting the skin from damage. It is also used to reduce the appearance of scars.
One study performed in 2000 raised safety concerns about octyl methoxycinnamate by demonstrating toxicity to mouse cells at concentrations lower than typical levels in sunscreens. However, a more recent study concluded that octyl methoxycinnamate and other sun screening agents do not penetrate the outer skin in sufficient concentration to cause any significant toxicity to the underlying human keratinocytes. Estrogenic effects were noted in laboratory animals at concentrations close to those experienced by sunscreen users and were also shown in test tube experiments. A study published in 2011 explored the effects of pre- and post-natal exposure to high doses of octyl methoxycinnamate in rats and showed, for example, that the testes weight and testoserone levels were significantly reduced in male rats.
An organic compound used in sunscreens. It forms colorless crystals that are readily soluble in most organic solvents. It is used as an ingredient in sunscreen and other cosmetics because it absorbs UVB and
short-wave UVA rays.
“Oxybenzone is a chemical in the family of benzophenones that is used in the vast majority of common sunscreens, as well as other skincare products, lip balm, etc. It is in the majority of sunscreens because of its ability to absorb and dissipate UV light, which causes sunburn and eventually skin cancers. Ideally, the chemical would simply sit on the skin and block sun rays until being washed off. Unfortunately, a study from the CDC suggests that the chemical is actually absorbed into our system, and can stay there for an unknown amount of time. The CDC randomly tested thousands of blood samples and found traces of benzophenones in 95 percent of the samples. It is certainly a scary thought that this chemical is being absorbed into our systems and causing unknown effects.”
I don’t use sunscreen unless I’m going to be stuck under STRONG sun for many hours.
I grew up in the Bahamas and grew up without sunscreen.
I find it quite unnatural to be putting chemicals on your body while your skin is baking under the sun.
I’ve always felt that you are basically cooking toxins into your body.
Which, by the paragraph above, seems to be what they are realizing now.
I’ve always felt that sunscreen had a link at INCREASING cancer, not decreasing and protecting from it.
I mean, think about it?
You can’t tell me, that when your skin cells are sizzling under the sun, that “stuff” you just lavished over
your body isn’t getting absorbed into your skin then into your bloodstream.
The shit’s just not natural man.
Our bodies aren’t supposed to take on stuff like that.
No wonder we’re all going cuckoo and getting sick.
WE aren’t natural anymore.
WE, essentially, are no longer human.
Get my angle?
Some sunscreens contain the vitamin A derivative retinyl palmitate
which speeds up the growth of cancerous cells in lab mice by as much as
21 percent when combined with sunlight.
When COMBINED with sunlight.
We already know that the FDA is a cash whore.
I like to call them the Fraud and Deception Administration.
Whatever will fill their pockets is what they will protect.
Maybe, like everything else, this whole PROTECT YOUR skin from the mean and evil UVs
is just another scare tactic to “BUY BUY BUY.”
Look, I just googled FDA and fraud. Guess I’m not alone. This is a list of names that
have been associated with the FDA. (Food and Drug Administration)
Faster Death to Americans
Failure to Defend Americans
Fact Distortion Agency
Fund Dubya’s Administration
Forever Drug Americans
Fraudulent Drug Approvals
Furtherment of Disease Alliance
Farcical Drug Authority
Federal Disinformation Association
Favoring Draconian Actions
Federal Drug Advocates
Facilitating the Drugging of America
Falsify and Distort Agency
Fatal Death Agency
Know your skin.
Naturally protect yourself from the sun, by staying OUT OF IT!
Take it in increments.
I dunno. It all just seems a little fishy to me…
and if I can, I like to avoid “extras” in my life
especially when it comes to voluntarily putting avoidable chemicals
on and in myself.
(Especially if they aren’t for entertainment or showing immediate and beneficial results)
Oh, I got sidetracked.
Yeah, I’m sure you HAVE noticed.
White petrolatum (petroleum jelly)
The raw material originated/was discovered on oil rigs.
Just the thing I want to put all over mis labios. (lips, sorry, I randomly bounce in and out of Spanish sometimes)
When I think about its consistency I start thinking of coconut oil.
Organic cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, organic ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, organic beeswax, coconut flavor, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, organic simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed wax, ammonium glycyrrhizate, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, organic prunus armeniaca (apricot) kernel oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, tocopherol and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), triticum vulgare (wheat) germ oil, allantoin, glycine soja (soybean) oil
Seemingly much more “appetizing.”
I feel like going towards more products that you can almost eat.
So natural, you can ingest it.
I can feel myself falling into a new obsession.
I live in a world of distorted perceptions.
Where good intentions are met with attacks
and masked wickedness is met with adulation.
I sit outside of my bubble and watch the world in silence.
and what I see, creates tears in my heart.
Tears may be interpreted in whichever definition comes to you, because it’s all the same.
I travel the world, inside my head and my tunes, a lot.
When I walk through crowds and city streets I always feel like I’m a ghost in a realm
not of my own.
A spirit floating through an altered dimension seeing those around me
with them, unable to see me.
I’m the air.
I have collected some of the best souvenirs along my travels.
Those who have become everlasting friends and permanent fixtures in my happiest of thoughts.
Yesterday, there was a moment where I was jazzed. Pumped. Feeling really good about my present…
The thought: “My life f-in rocks!”
Rushed through my veins.
Then, as all the confetti falls to the floor…
I’m alone again.
Feeling detached from the world and the wavelengths of most around me.
“I’m a fucking monster when all I wanted was something beautiful.”
That’s a line from Meg Myers song, “Monster.”
She’s referring to a relationship but that line’s perfect to describe the way I feel sometimes
because it starts with anger and hurt then ends of with softness and beauty.
And that’s my ying and yang.
My frustration and disgust towards a world that really doesn’t give a shit…
and my heart that wishes, you could open your eyes and begin to see.
Take the time to step towards something greater.
You can never please 100% of the world, but why even bother, when most of the world
doesn’t even give a shit about anything beyond their bubble?
No matter how much I shake it off and push forward…
the darts of the enemies still manage to prick my armor.
If what doesn’t kill you, truly makes you stronger
my God, please SAVE the person that DARE step in my path
when my time has come to really, fuck shit up.
Abdul Sattar Edhi, (Urdu: عبد الستار ایدھی, Gujarati: અબ્દુલ સત્તાર ઇદી) – 84, gave up everything to devote his life to helping Pakistan’s poorest. From standing on the foot paths to beg for the poor, to establishing Pakistan’s biggest network of shelter homes and ambulance service, here is the selfless journey of a true living saint.
THE BIGGEST NETWORK!
I hope in my very near future I can begin to help better the world around me in as grand a scale as he.
(BIGGER, actually. MUCH BIGGER)
