Engineering Humans to Save the Environment and Finding the Humane in Humanity

How far would YOU go to save the environment?
Me? I do my thing, here and there. If I don’t need a bag, shopping, I don’t take it.
If it’s paper, I always crack the joke: “Nah, save the trees.”
I try to utilize what I have and try not to go beyond what is needed.
But far from a saint.
It’s crazy to see, how much the average family accumulates in trash…

Especially, from my observation, families with boys.
Endless pits of activity and EATING
They’ve got singly packed prunes now…
have you seen that?

C’mon. Talk about waste.
Convenience is making the world FAT and is also destroying it.
But in the end, who cares? Right?
That’s tomorrow’s worries, not today’s.

Coming from the Bahamas, I’m exposed to how global demand
can damage ecosystems and rob oceans or their bounties.
If we were to live, solely on what our surroundings can provide…
we’d be one step ahead of the game.

But instead, we have our massive meat factories, over-fishing of oceans
and waste.

In order to make a significant impact on mending what we’ve destroyed
we’d need a world-wide, ALL TOGETHER NOW!!

And we AREN’T going to get it…
because, simply, people SUCK.

I’ve already “tested” ’em out.
Most people are too selfish, too ignorant, too blind, too corrupt…
too much of what we don’t need
and too little of what we do.

Let’s take this Kony movement.
Most people get this HIGH for thinking they are helping.
For being a part of something “good” and BIG.
My friend Ant and I write and share important issues all the time
yet…once something gets sensationalized and “Hollywood”

It takes off.
However, what are you really doing?
How are you helping?
Do you really think, the ailments of Africa will magically heal after the capture of Joseph Kony?

He’s “small fry.” Merely a puppet of the higher, evil of GREED fed by consumer demand.

If the “world” of this fleeting and substance-light “Let’s save it”
movement truly wanted to make an impact on the lives which are sucked under in chaos and suffering in this world…

they’d have to do a HELL of a lot more
than a simple “like” and “share” on Facebook.
However, beyond that, is where we unearth the TRUE nature of most of humanity.

Most people are only willing to give up that which does not
bring them discomfort. Natural, no?
The relationship between the desire to make a difference
and the effort and sacrifice it takes
is inversely proportional.

Desire decreases when one’s comfort level’s disturbed.

Liking, sharing and giving money to someone
is a small, quick act. Bravo to you…
but what else?

Yay. We can all recognize Kony and the elephant-donkey merge pic.

Now what?
How long will this “fad” last for?

And, what about all the other warlords and violent leaders?
Oh what? Huh? There’s just him?
Ahhhhh. Ok. Sorry, my bad. I didn’t know.
Yay! The bright future for Africa and its people is on its WAY!

Let me give you a small list of things you CAN
do, to eradicate the multiple harsh realities of those in Africa.

Stop buying these:

Who’s onboard? Ready to save the world!!!
Let’s go!!!!!!!!!!
(Yeah, I thought so.)
Hard to separate this “new” world we’ve created for ourselves
without damaging the less fortunate worlds we use(d) to get here.

A line, a damn line to get the latest and “greatest.”
Fucking pathetic.

 Camping out for an iPhone.
Nice to see where priorities lie in some.

And guess what?
I bet a nice percentage of these folks…with their latest and greatest in technology
are the same supporters of Occupy Wallstreet.
Crying over the “evil” 1% like spoiled brats not getting their way.

The lovely west. No wonder so many people hate and want to destroy it.
Would be nice, for some, to be able to stand in line…just to merely get something to eat
or freedom from slavery, rape, abuse and violence.

Where’s that line?

Conflict minerals.

Gold, coltan, tungsten, wolframite and cassiterite.
These commonly mined minerals are estimated to be worth

$30 trillion dollars.

Yay for Africa, right?
I mean, LOOK! Just look at the luxurious lifestyles of the citizens of this RICH nation!

Some of the beautiful faces of repetitive rape, torture and slavery.

And…a once beautiful face, unrecognizable.

Hard to look at, huh?
This is “life.”

These are the faces and lives, or lack there of (life that is), of your precious diamonds and minerals.

Doesn’t look so pretty/flashy now huh?

This is why kids that WHINE about video games, iPads, phones, useless material wants, etc etc etc
need a damn SLAP. Anyone for that matter who whine about shit they WANT
yet don’t NEED.

It’s fine to “enjoy” the finer things in life, if you can afford it.
But crying about material and useless luxuries
when people are out there shedding tears for the simple “luxury” of a decent life
without the option of even trying to create a better one…

I dunno.
to me, is just.

You’re so quick to see the “EVIL” in the top dawgs. The 1%.
How about the “evil” that lies in you?
The 1% just supplies.
If you stop the demand…

where would they be?

1% can’t support the 1%.
Ever thought about that?

((This wasn’t the “stay tuned” entry I was talking about yesterday. But, it just came. Flowed. Sprung forth from an article a friend sent me. I started reading it but then my mind went off on its own little “adventure.”)

I dare you…

The world can only begin to repair itself
after it finally realizes that it’s broken.

Open someone’s eyes, today.

Quickly touching on the “engineering humans to save the environment” part in bullet point because I just can’t be bothered to write out what I initially started off wanting to write about:

  • A stop eating meat pill
  • Genetically engineering humans to be smaller (Thereby consuming less)
  • Drugs to increase empathy and altruism (over the counter ecstasy??? 🙂 I’m up for that! Prescribe me please!)
  • Making human’s eyes more cat like so they’d need lighting. (decreasing energy demand) Yeah no, like really.

So what say you?
Ready to save the environment too?

You can read more on that here:

“Homosexuals are the TRUE inventors of Nazism.” – Scott Lively

Ever see the face of an idiot?
Well, voilà. Here you go. You’re welcome.

Another intelligent quote from one of his seminars in Uganda:

“These are people were molested themselves, and they are looking for other people to be able to prey upon. When they see a child that’s from a broken home, it’s like they have a flashing neon sign over their head.”

Life in prison for first time offenders and the death penalty for serial offenders.

Death penalty.

Not for RAPE or disruption of anything OUTSIDE of themselves
but for the mere act of living one’s life.

If we were to “GRACE” the death penalty upon all the ignorant, miserable, HATING IDIOTS out there, I PROMISE you, this world will be a better place.
(Like the Pastor Martin SSEMPA for one)
I’m sure you’ve seen this video already.
If you haven’t, please do.

So what say you?

Let’s do this?

We need to stop the hate against innocent people
and start concentrating on the REAL crimes against humanity.
Stupid fucks.

Speaking of the 99% and the 1%
I’m starting to think, INTELLIGENCE is dished out in the same manner.
So, what are you now?

The 1% or 99%???

The World Enslaved – Past and Present

If you’ve been following along, you KNOW that in my past life, I was Brazilian. Yes, tiz me jokin’ but I say this because I’ve always felt a connection with the people, the land, the culture and (ESPECIALLY) the language. Brazilian Portuguese has always been my #1 language, anytime it meets my ears, I can’t help but smile. When I was younger my mom always told me to concentrate on Spanish, something that was more widespread and useful. And I’d think: Useful for whom?

(Let’s just say, shakin’ hands with a “fan” in the Dominican Republic)
Main point, CHECK the JERSEY! Woohoo!
ha ha

I speak of modern day slavery and human trafficking on this site.
It’s crazy that I never thought of touching up on the subject of original slavery.
Visiting the past, helps understand the present.
It helps us see why we struggle in certain areas, where we’ve MAJORLY fucked up and hopefully see ways in which to rectify it.

If we don’t take the time to reflect on ourselves to see how we can improve
life will take a speed and direction of its own

and the result is never usually pretty.

If it’s not the good taking the time to better themselves
(and thereby the world around them)
the bad, like a virus, will take over and with their selfish and corrupt initiatives
start spreading, planting seeds and multiplying.

Ignoring a problem, is just as bad as causing it.
Ignoring automatically places you in the stance of, let it flow.
Let it go. Let it flourish.

People seem to enjoy GETTING into OTHER people’s business
when it’s unwarranted, but when it REALLY matters

where the fuck are you?

The Bystander Effect/Genovese Syndrome.
It’s so damn common they’ve got a name for it. It’s the label for the social phenomenon where “bystanders” witness an emergency situation and do not offer any assistance to the victim when other people are present.

Like: I’ll let someone else deal with it. Not my problem.

How chivalrous.

After Portugal’s invasion of Brazil, over 500 years ago
(which really isn’t that much time)
a lot of the native tribal Indians were forced into slavery and wiped out.
(Murder, small pox, measles and the common cold – in short, the aftereffects of the meddling and greedy Europeans)

The Portuguese turned to African slaves after the native resources were downsized.
Brazil became the destination for the largest amount of slaves, worldwide.

They were referenced as cargo and not treated much better than worthless
inanimate objects – packed by the hundreds with hardly any food, water nor air space.

A large part of the shipment arrived deceased.
After the 40 day or so voyage, most ships were abandoned because there was no one around who wanted to deal with the clean up.

The slaves were branded like merchandise.
Burnt by heated iron symbols (usually owner’s initials) into their skin.

They’d be shown and “tested” in front of potential buyers
then whipped back into their stalls.

Beautiful, huh?

Brazil, at the time, was whored out for its sugarcane.
“White Gold”

But I like to call it “Blood Crystals”

It was used by the rich to sweeten food and for medicines.
As there was no refrigeration, sugar was also used to help mask the taste of rotting food.

The slave owners were allowed to beat, sell and kill their slaves without repercussion as they were considered property, so they could

do with them as they pleased.

Some forms of punishments included whippings
(which were sometimes followed by applying salt and pepper to open wounds)
slitting of ears
and any form of torture that would suit their fancy.

Not much has changed today in regards to modern day slaves.
The forms of mistreatment and exploitation have just taken different forms.

Since it was OK for such oppression and cruelty to fellow (powerless) human
beings in the past

I say we flip history on its ass and take back control from vicious

and give them the treatment they so JUSTLY deserve.

We can call it: The Evolution and Progression of Good over Evil.

Slaves who became pregnant would intentionally abort themselves so their children wouldn’t have to go through the same diabolical fate.
I actually wish this was still a popular solution because one large problem with human trafficking today is parents selling their children for profit or because they can not afford another mouth to feed.

Trust me, DEATH before birth is a MUCH better outcome than the life these children are forced/sold into.

Let’s hit up on the Catholic Church a bit.
Shall we?

The High All Mighty C. Church turned a blind eye when it came to the fornication and breeding between the Europeans and slaves.
Most of the children from these interactions were placed right into slavery.
Like nothing.

Like BUSTING a fucking load and creating a life without worth or importance.
Just another slave.

That’s some WHACKED out shit, don’t you think?

The C. Church lovingly used their powers to make slavery acceptable and justifiable as to help spread the faith making it obligatory for slave owners to

baptize their slaves.
Peachy, no?

A RELIGION used and manipulated for alterior motives?
You DON’T SAY?!?!!?

Shocking, huh?

How so many can put their faith in religion with such a seedy and evil past, is beyond me.

Cult sheep.

Greed. Manipulation. Power.

(I can go on and on, but this isn’t an entry about the Catholic Church)

Wouldn’t it have been nice if everyone just respected each other’s land and spaces from the very beginning? Left well enough alone.
Left greed behind. Left CONQUERING behind and just lived peacefully and civilly sharing the same earth?

“Playing fair.”

But no.

We gotta bully and take advantage of the weak.

Not much has changed today.
Why would we expect it to?

Slowly, slowly we seem to be making steps to better our surroundings
but have we really come that far?

With the greed of humanity
have our achievements really been GOOD?

We’ve basically pushed many groups of people into near extinction
fucked up the ecosystem
and continuously, without pause, pollute the earth.

Soon, all the world will be is one big pile of shit.
(biological and inanimate)

Congratulations HOMOSAPIENS!

At present, we have created a monster.
A world where we are falling deeper and deeper into technological addictions.
We are moving further and further away from our natural resources and human contact.

Why have we focused so highly on the advancement of technology
(mind-numbing distractions)

when humans remain so paralyzed and behind in regards to the positive advancements of their souls?

I passed out yesterday watching a documentary:

Batman Unmasked: The Psychology of the Dark Knight

It was really good.

Interesting how much thought is placed into the characters.

I have a newfound appreciation for the superhero

and have decided to, from here on in, go by the name of

Watch the doc, and you’ll totally understand.
That is, if you don’t understand the character already.

I woke up a few hours later.
It was 12:30AM.
From then on, I was up til 5AM with this ideas flashing through my head
for this present blog
made the appropriate notes and finished it off today.
I hope you’ve enjoyed.

Thanks for stopping by, as usual, and for your time.
Be BETTER than yesterday, today and even BETTER than tomorrow, as each day is blessed upon you.

You can actually watch the BATBITCH inspired documentary here if you’d like:

Sexual Exploitation & the Creme of Insomnia

Enjoyed an ample amount of red wine at dinner with friends.
Felt my body ready for bed.
Managed to fall asleep at around 11pm or so.

However, my peaceful slumber was short lived.

The hotel room phone rang. It’s the most dreadful sound I have ever heard come out of a telephone. When I managed to will myself out of bed to get the phone, a female automated voice, in Dutch, came on.

Back to bed.

A half hour later, phone rings again. Are you f-in kidding me?!

It was my mother. She thought our time difference was 12 hours NOT 6.
Peachy, just peachy.
The only night I may have slept through til morning since I’ve arrived and my mom wakes me up
wanting to know how to edit a video she took off her digicam.

Welcome to my life.

However, with lack of sleep, comes productivity…at least, in my life.
My insomnia, is your informative gain.

Groomed for Sex.

Newest form of sex crimes I’ve been introduced to via Anthony – onstreet grooming of young girls for sex by Pakistani men in the UK.

Useless fucks sentenced to 18 years in jail for grooming a young girl for sex.

Like, WTF?!?!?

Amazing how powerless men are when it comes to the little devil in their pants that just wishes to cream itself. How fucking pathetic.

My friend Stephanie shared a beautiful link with me. Made me smile.

The Anti-Rape Condom.

30,000 of these Rape-Axe condoms were handed out during South Africa’s World Cup.
These female condoms have jagged teeth inside to tear up a penis if inserted.
The hooks then attach themselves to the penis, can only be taken off by a doctor
not only doesn’t come off, but becomes TIGHTER and makes urination impossible.

At $2 a piece, if these things really work, I’d love to give it to every woman I know.
No, that EXISTS.
Too bad we aren’t born with a similar natural defense system.

Check out the website.

The Chinese Are Coming!

What’s that?
Brain’s kicked into gear and I can’t settle it enough for even 3 hours of a full night’s rest.
Ah well.

Could be worse.

Looked up a movie recommended by my friend Marije.
She couldn’t remember the name, but remembered key points
like the three cities, Bangladesh, Bangkok and Mexico.
I found it.

The movie’s called Whore’s Glory by Michael Glawogger.

How one can smile and find entertainment at set ups like these, is beyond me.
Shit like this creates a broken sadness in me of hopeless desperation.
I have not been able to find a version online to watch.

Hopefully it’ll come out for purchase/viewing soon.
It was hard enough to find a trailer in English!!!

So, the Chinese are in Africa.
ha ha Not really.
The damn Chinese seem to infiltrate even the SMALLEST of countries.
Like, the Bahamas!

(Yours truly!!)

On my first trip to Holland, I signed up for a Kung Fu course.
In the first lesson, my teacher (sifu) discussed the history of martial arts and how it originated in China.
As I grow older, I’ve learned to embrace my heritage.

I’m always usually the only asian in my “herds” of friends.
Or, at least the only Chinese.
My collection of asians has been growing in the last few years…but they mainly consist of Thais, Filipinos
Indonesians, and Indians.

I plan on heading out to China next year.
Need to hit up ma peeps, as I like to say.

I’m currently watching “The Chinese are Coming.”

Very good documentary.
(2 hours long)

First hour is about the Chinese current presence in Africa and the ways in which they are influencing the
lives, culture and work ethics of the Africans.
The next hour covers the Chinese influx of Brazil.
(Where I’ll be living soon…need to get my Portuguese back up to par)

Description of film:
(Full-length video below)

Travelling across three continents, Justin Rowlatt investigates the spread of Chinese influence around the planet and asks what the world will be like if China overtakes America as the world’s economic superpower. In the first of two films, he embarks on a journey across Southern Africa to chart the extraordinary phenomenon of Chinese migration to Africa, and the huge influence of China on the development of the continent.

While many in the West view Africa as a land of poverty, to the Chinese it is seen as an almost limitless business opportunity. From Angola to Tanzania, Justin meets the fearless Chinese entrepreneurs who have travelled thousands of miles to set up businesses.

Justin Rowlatt crosses Brazil and the United States on an epic journey as he continues to investigate the spread of Chinese influence around the planet.

In Rio, local industries, including bikini factories, are threatened by cheap Chinese imports, and in the Amazon, Justin witnesses the phenomenal impact of the Chinese hunger for resources on the indigenous people and the environment.

In the US, from California to the rust belt, Justin encounters the rising undercurrent of American fury over their own decline in the face of competition from China.
